Crystal Growing Technologist (m/f/d)

Your tasks

• You will be responsible for technology development in crystal growing,
• You will use your experience and knowledge to stabilise, improve and further develop existing growing technologies,
• You will work on your own initiative to develop new growing technologies and processes, evaluate and optimise them to reduce production costs and transfer them to production with process stability,
• In cooperation with quality assurance, you will analyse material defects and take technological measures to eliminate them,
• You will create key figures in collaboration with production logistics and use these in a targeted manner to increase capacity utilisation and production efficiency,
• You will maintain close contact with our suppliers and contribute to the modification of systems and the development of new system concepts.

Your profile

• You have successfully completed a degree in crystallography, mineralogy or geology,
• You are familiar with various processes for growing crystalline materials, are proficient in the various production steps and the associated measurement technology,
• You have already gained initial experience in the field of crystal growing,
• You have basic knowledge of automation technology (PLC),
• Your strengths include an independent, self-reliant way of working and organisational talent. You can communicate well with co-workers and enjoy
• working in a team,
• You are business fluent in German and have a good command of written and spoken English.
