A look back: A successful Saturday at the training fair at the KuK Gera
News & Event5. September 2026
Jena/Gera – Last weekend (5 September 2026), the Gera Culture and Congress Centre (KuK) became the hotspot for regional career launches. There was plenty going on at the biggest apprenticeship fair in Eastern Thuringia – and we were right in the thick of it!
Experience career guidance first-hand
For young people and their parents, the fair is one of the most important places to go to find out about work experience placements, apprenticeship places and career prospects in the region. And there was plenty on offer:
- Over 120 companies and organisations showcased their career opportunities.
- Hundreds of curious young talents took the opportunity to find out first-hand about different careers.
- In-depth discussions: The main priority was for companies to discover and work out what really suits them.
We didn’t just use the trade fair to showcase ourselves as a training organisation; we also visited numerous stands ourselves, asked thought-provoking questions and engaged in in-depth discussions with other companies.
Our conclusion
An exhibition hall packed to the rafters, highly committed companies and plenty of young people who were there with specific questions and plans for their future.
We would like to thank everyone who took part and made this apprenticeship fair such a great success. It was great fun getting to know the skilled workers of tomorrow!
